We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Management Trainee to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Management Trainee, you will be responsible for training on all aspects of successfully running a store, including supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and mentoring and developing the team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train store personnel to ensure excellent customer service and store operations
- Conduct store meetings and provide feedback to employees
- Develop and implement operational action plans to improve store performance
- Manage store payroll and total loss budgets
- Conduct cash audits and maintain store equipment in proper working order
- Identify and rectify hazards and maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors
- Oversee product merchandising and maintain proper stock levels
- Conduct store inventory counts and reconciliations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to provide and lead others to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Ability to establish goals, guide employee performance, and evaluate performance
