We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at Avid Technology Professionals, LLC. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing advanced, leading-edge cloud-oriented architectures that provide new cybersecurity capabilities to a major U.S. Government customer.
Responsibilities:- Partner with the Chief Engineer to develop cloud-oriented architectures that meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to design and implement advanced cloud-oriented cybersecurity capabilities.
- Interface with customers, stakeholders, and end-users to derive, develop, and decompose next-cycle updates and specifications.
- 10+ years of applicable experience in cloud security and architecture.
- 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security technologies, including Elk Stack, Ansible, Nessus, and Splunk.
- Proven leadership skills and experience successfully leading technical teams and projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining a Google Cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud technologies.
- Experience with agile development environments and DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience working on projects that implement analytic models into production systems.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
