Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at Avid Technology Professionals, LLC. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing advanced, leading-edge cloud-oriented architectures that provide new cybersecurity capabilities to a major U.S. Government customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Chief Engineer to develop cloud-oriented architectures that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to design and implement advanced cloud-oriented cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Interface with customers, stakeholders, and end-users to derive, develop, and decompose next-cycle updates and specifications.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of applicable experience in cloud security and architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security technologies, including Elk Stack, Ansible, Nessus, and Splunk.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience successfully leading technical teams and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining a Google Cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with agile development environments and DevOps/DevSecOps.
  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience working on projects that implement analytic models into production systems.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
