Job Overview:

The Purchasing Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hospital facilities by sourcing high-quality products and services at competitive prices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchase essential goods and services to support hospital operations
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to drive cost savings and quality improvements
  • Utilize market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
  • Create and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in the Clinical Quality Value Analysis program to identify areas for improvement
  • Address complex procurement issues through effective problem-solving and communication

Required Skills:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven expertise in purchasing, supply chain, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.9186 - $46.2774 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This role requires a standard work schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
