As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for our animal guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks essential to their well-being and happiness.
Responsibilities:- Provide daily walks for dogs, ensuring their physical activity and mental stimulation.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to all animals, adhering to specific dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by thoroughly cleaning cages, runs, and common areas.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing bedding and towels used for animal care.
- Assist with general building maintenance tasks as needed.
- Administer medication to animals as directed by veterinary staff.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not mandatory. A genuine passion for animal welfare is essential.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is necessary due to the nature of our operations.
- Professional appearance is important; visible tattoos or piercings may need to be covered.
