We are seeking exceptional Respiratory Therapists to become part of Inova Health System. We offer both full-time and part-time roles with flexible schedules to accommodate various shifts. Our compensation package is competitive, reflecting experience, and includes additional on-call pay, as well as a generous sign-on bonus based on your experience level and relocation incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will:
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various healthcare settings.
- Administer therapeutic treatments and perform diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory health and treatments.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited CoARC respiratory care program.
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Eligibility to take the National Board of Respiratory Care Advanced Practitioner exam.
- Basic Life Support certification from AHA upon hire.
Additional Requirements:
Depending on the level of the position, candidates may need:
- Experience in critical care environments.
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
- Relevant advanced credentials or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
