Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and supporting the management of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety
  • Lead and direct your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Support the management of all aspects within your pharmacy, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve specified goals and drive growth and improvement in your pharmacy
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
