Rocket Engine Subassembly Production Manager

At Blue Origin, we are pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rocket Engine Subassembly Production Manager to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the subassembly work center, ensuring the production of high-quality rocket engine components. This includes mentoring and training team members, promoting teamwork and employee morale, and ensuring workplace safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field, with 5-7 years of management experience in aerospace or defense. They will be proficient in business/office computing software and have experience in setting up, commissioning, and activating production equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring department metrics, including safety, quality, cost, schedule, and OEE. They will also perform critical administrative activities, such as recruiting, performance reviews, coaching, resource planning, and budget management.
