Faculty Position in Immunology

We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our team at the Medical College of Georgia, Immunology Center of Georgia at Augusta University. The successful candidate will be an established immunologist with a strong research background in one of the following disease areas: Cancer immunology, Autoimmune disease, Vascular immunology, Leukemia/Lymphoma immunology, and in any of the following immunology research areas: T cell biology, Checkpoint inhibitors, Engineered immune cells of any type, Antigen presentation and DC biology: ADCC, Fc receptors, Complement, Monocyte and Macrophage Biology.
Responsibilities- Funding: 75% - Expected to maintain continuous NIH funding
- Teaching: 10% - Expected to train graduate students and postdocs & possibly teach advance Immunology course
- Service: 10% - Participate on IMMCG & AU committees
- Other: 5% - Other duties as assigned by Director
- Ph.D., MD, or Ph.D./MD or equivalent from an accredited college or university
- Assistant Professor- Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training
- Associate Professor- Mid level career faculty member with at least five years at rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience
- Professor- Senior level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training, background, and experience
This position is fiscal year based and works year-round. The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time.
