Restaurant Equipment Maintenance Technician

Whataburger is seeking a skilled Restaurant Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen equipment. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to prevent downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency
Manage work orders and schedules to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Liaise with third-party vendors and review their work to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain parts inventory and manage budget for equipment repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
2+ years' field experience in HVAC and commercial refrigeration
1+ years' work experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair or educational equivalent
3+ years' experience
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification or CFC Certification
Preferred:
HVAC State Certified License
State-licensed Mechanical Contractor or Journeyman's license
Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) Certification
