Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in Durham, North Carolina for the current school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs among students.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address individual student needs.
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary school students, promoting effective communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • North Carolina SLP license or the ability to obtain one, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A passion for working with elementary school students and helping them develop strong communication skills.
