We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality steel reinforcement products.
Key Responsibilities- Attend training sessions to learn about applicable equipment and procedures
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team
- Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
- Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
- Cross-train on multiple machines to increase efficiency and productivity
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, including heat and cold
- Willingness to cross-train as required to support the team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safe working habits
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate fabrication machines safely and efficiently
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, and work in a variety of environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a heavy industrial environment (preferred but not required)
