El Técnico de Mantenimiento reporta al Gerente General y será responsable de la total garantía de calidad en todas las suites de huéspedes y áreas comunes del hotel. Esto incluye el mantenimiento preventivo de las suites de huéspedes, áreas públicas, equipos importantes y terrenos.

$18 - $20 por hora

Responsabilidades:
  • Mantener los terrenos y exteriores del hotel de manera diaria, semanal, mensual y estacional, participando en el mantenimiento diario de las habitaciones.
  • Establecer y mantener un programa de mantenimiento preventivo según los estándares de la empresa.
  • Completar todas las órdenes de trabajo de mantenimiento identificadas para el día, incluyendo pintura, trabajos menores de electricidad y plomería, reparación de paneles de yeso, limpieza de HVAC, instalación de electrodomésticos.
  • Evaluar problemas de mantenimiento y repararlos o iniciar llamadas de servicio con proveedores establecidos.
  • Mantener un tablero de asignación de órdenes de trabajo y rastrear las órdenes completadas/pendientes.
  • Dar seguimiento a todas las órdenes de trabajo incompletas para informar al huésped o departamento solicitante sobre el estado de su orden de trabajo.
  • Asegurar el mantenimiento preventivo rutinario de equipos de lavandería, unidades de calefacción y aire acondicionado, máquinas de hielo, extintores de incendios, alarmas de incendios/humo, sistemas de riego, equipos de jardinería, equipos de ejercicio y plomería, según lo requiera el fabricante y siguiendo las especificaciones de garantía.
  • Inspeccionar las habitaciones de huéspedes.
  • Realizar tareas de mantenimiento como reemplazo de bombillas, desatascar inodoros y desagües.
  • Implementar programas del Departamento de Mantenimiento para asegurar que se cumplan los criterios de calidad.
  • Educar al personal adecuado sobre procedimientos básicos de mantenimiento para mantener un servicio al huésped de alta calidad.
  • Mantener archivos y registros de control de llaves.
  • Comunicar de manera efectiva todos los cambios en el estado de las habitaciones a la recepción.
  • Llevar un pager o teléfono celular para responder a emergencias.
  • Cualquier solicitud razonable de la gerencia que el ingeniero de mantenimiento sea capaz de realizar.
Calificaciones:
  • Se prefiere un mínimo de dos años de experiencia laboral consistente.
  • Fuerte aptitud mecánica.
  • Título de secundaria o equivalente.
  • Experiencia en plomería, pintura, electricidad; experiencia en HVAC es un plus.
  • Capacidad para llevar un buen registro de reparaciones y utilizar sistemas establecidos para promover un buen mantenimiento preventivo.
  • Disposición para realizar tareas como limpieza de estacionamientos y recorridos por la propiedad de manera regular.
