Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our team at Helzberg Diamonds. As a Bench Jeweler, you will be responsible for providing high-quality jewelry repair services to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Ensure that all jewelry repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of gold stock, findings, and loose stones, and ensure that all materials are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Supply Chain Management: Properly manage supply expense dollars by maintaining adequate inventory levels without excess.
  • Asset Recovery: Contribute to maximizing the financial return of precious metal recoveries by following proper asset recovery procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety-related procedures to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training store associates on repair policies and procedures to ensure consistency in communicating repair information.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, two to four years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery, and equipment, as well as advanced jewelry repair knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to make good decisions and solve problems effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $27.00 per hour, as well as a range of benefit programs designed to care for the physical, mental, and financial well-being of our employees and their families.
