Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at UmbraGroup. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, editing programming as necessary, and maintaining fixturing and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Edit programming as necessary to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Maintain fixturing and tooling to ensure efficient production
  • Inspect own work and document inspection results
  • Abide by all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Produce quality products within given specifications
  • Train other operators on CNC machine operation and maintenance
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance on CNC machines
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Participate in 6S initiatives to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals, and government regulations.

Computer Skills

Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by the job.Physical Demands

Factory and product manufacturing environment where the noise levels are moderate to loud.
