  • Monitor Surveillance Systems: Continuously observe video monitors to stay aware of potential security threats.
  • Conduct Regular Patrols: Patrol hallways, buildings, and parking lots to ensure they are well-lit and resident vehicles are securely locked.
  • Secure Facilities: Ensure all doors are secured and locked in the evening, maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond promptly to emergencies and assist local emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of resident and community information at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Criminal Background Check: Must pass a State and Company criminal background/drug screen.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and Security experience desired.
  • Security Knowledge: Possess knowledge of legal requirements for security guard positions.
  • Decision-Making: Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Previous Experience: Previous security experience desired, with knowledge of legal requirements for security guard positions.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to react calmly and confidently under pressure and in unexpected situations.
