Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide (CNA/Med Aide) who will:

  • Deliver personalized care services to residents under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Assist residents with self-administration of medications, including tracking medication supplies and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Prepare and administer medications as required.
  • Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure residents experience emotional and physical comfort in a secure and nurturing environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support patient care and ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Document activities using Point of Care (POC), ADL Flow sheets, Restorative Sheets, and other required documentation.
  • Lift patients and equipment without restrictions.
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license
  • Current Medication Aide license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six months of relevant experience in a skilled or long-term care environment
  • Able to work weekends
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification

Preferred:

  • Experience working with the senior population
  • Familiarity with Point of Care (POC) systems
  • A genuine desire to serve and care for seniors
