Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc.

About the Role:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner will be responsible for delivering skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver advanced respiratory care modalities and interventions to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
  • Perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.
  • Establish therapy and treatment objectives, and review care based on the age and needs of the patient.
  • Operate independently, under limited supervision, and communicate effectively with patient care staff and management.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
  • Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
  • Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required.
  • Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire, depending on the age of the population served.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
  • Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred.
