Job Summary

MonoSol LLC is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, supporting safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faulty equipment using test equipment and software, and applying knowledge of electronic units and systems.
  • Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation or for defects.
  • Install repaired equipment, power, light, controls, and conduit in the plant, using blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications.
  • Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators, process engineers, and other maintenance personnel to detect equipment problems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to detect and prevent problems.
  • Repair or adjust industrial equipment to ensure that systems function properly to the company's specifications.
  • Maintain equipment electronic logs that record performance problems, repairs, or calibrations.
  • Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to company's specifications.
  • Select appropriate materials and operates equipment to complete work.
Requirements
  • AA Degree in Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology or an approved apprenticeship in industrial electronics maintenance.
  • 2-15 years of experience in electrical or electronics maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good troubleshooting abilities and root cause failure analysis ability.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Electrical Safety knowledge including Arch Flash safety Training.
  • Flexibility to work around production's schedules, including variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime with occasional emergency call-ins when required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Own tools (e.g. hand tools, voltage or current meter).
