Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at a top-rated healthcare facility in Redding, California. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographic, CT, and ultrasound scans
  • Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills through continuing education programs
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Supervise Radiology staff in the absence of the supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining department supplies and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote teamwork
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Completion of a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Minimum three years Radiology Tech experience
  • Active unencumbered California state license

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
