The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures.

  • Performs computed tomography procedures utilizing General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems according to established operating procedures, clinical protocols, and imaging techniques.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
  • Performs Quality Assurance Tests on CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and equipment performance.
  • Obtains patient history and other relevant clinical information; documents all patient information on appropriate forms in preparation for review and dictation by a radiologist.
  • Starts IVs using appropriate technique, prepares and administers contrast material, and monitors patient condition during the CT procedure.
Requirements
  • 12-24 months experience in radiology
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program
  • 2 hours of stroke education/year
  • Knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures
  • Able to perform all routine CT procedures
  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • Computer competent
