Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Crochet Instructor for Youth to join our dynamic team. As a Youth Crochet Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire creativity in young minds, foster artistic expression, and instill a passion for crafting in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging and suitable crochet lesson plans tailored for youth participants
  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity and skill enhancement
  • Offer personalized assistance and encouragement to students to support them in reaching their crochet project objectives
  • Ensure a safe and well-organized crochet workspace, with all materials easily accessible for students
  • Collaborate with LTYC staff to assess and enhance the crochet program curriculum based on student advancement and feedback

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching crochet to individuals or groups
  • Proficient in a variety of crochet techniques and patterns
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated capability in planning and conducting engaging crochet lessons
  • Skills in US Work Authorization, Lesson Planning, and Classroom Management
