About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Nectar Markets. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting and securing our cannabis facility, ensuring the safety of our staff, customers, and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor access in and out of the dispensary, controlling access to the facility in accordance with State Rules and Regulations.
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of dispensaries and grounds, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Monitor video surveillance systems and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Prevent losses and damage by informing violators of policy and procedure, and restraining trespassers.
  • Document any incidents, accidents, or security breaches, and report them to the General Manager.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • BSIS Guard Card (Required).
  • Experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or other government security agencies.
  • Knowledge of computer & office equipment and programs (Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems).
  • Ability to focus, attention to detail, and work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly, and remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity.
