Job Description

Job Summary

HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Department. As a Radiology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist physicians in radiologic and interventional procedures.
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in Procedural, Interventional Radiology, and/or ICU/Critical Care nursing is highly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred and required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
