Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Consultant to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a Leasing Consultant, you will act as the community's sales representative, greeting clients, presenting the features and benefits of our communities, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting deposits and processing future residents' applications
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and community policies
• Utilizing proper customer service and sales techniques
• Maintaining contact with apartment locator services and local businesses
• Conducting outreach marketing and developing resident retention programs
• Creating new move-in resident files and assisting with ongoing file maintenance
• Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Handling resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced working environment
• Organized with attention to detail
• Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role
• Ability to multitask and be dependable
