Chief of Urology

The Tandym Group is seeking a highly experienced urologist to lead our urology department in Suffolk County. As Chief of Urology, you will provide strategic direction and oversee the clinical activities of our urologists, ensuring high-quality patient care and alignment with our healthcare institution's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the urology department.
  • Supervise and coordinate the clinical activities of urologists and other medical staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the urology department.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the urology department.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of urologic services.
  • Oversee educational programs for residents and medical students.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for urology department staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
  • Board Certified in Urology.
  • Desired Skills:
    • 3+ years of Urology experience.
    • Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role.
