Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN NICU Per Diem Nights to join our team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care to patients in the NICU.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
