Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for executing all requested procedures within the CT Department, ensuring both quality and quantity of services provided to all inpatients and outpatients across all age groups.

Supervise the daily duties and workflow of staff. Assess staffing needs each day, utilizing call technicians only when necessary. Ensure all supplies and equipment are operational for departmental functions. Oversee staff scheduling and departmental coverage across all modalities. Foster and maintain a positive rapport and professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff. Perform duties as a staff technologist when required. Under the guidance of the Imaging Manager, Director of Radiology, and Radiologist, execute administrative and consultative responsibilities. Direct departmental activities and technologist staff while supporting ancillary personnel. May be required to work at various locations as needed.

Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)(CT).

  • Minimum of 5 years of imaging experience required; 5+ years preferred.
Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
