Dairy Merchandiser

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for replenishing merchandise displays in retail stores by performing various duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine merchandise displays to identify items in need of replenishment.
• Pull back-stock from storage areas to refill displays, rotating stock using the FIFO system.
• Work closely with department managers to explain and resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items.
• Complete Equipment Move Order paperwork, load freezers onto trucks or trailers, and deliver them to designated customer locations.
• Stock storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
• Participate in store displays and resets.
• Set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables.
• Travel between store locations in assigned territories or to other locations as requested.
• Attend and participate in routine or other meetings as required.
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
• Train Dairy Managers on proper ordering techniques.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations associated with this position.
• Ability to respond to these and provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English.
