Locum Physician

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide temporary anesthesia care services in a dynamic healthcare setting.

• Provide Anesthesia Care: Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor Patient Vital Signs: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
• Respond to Emergencies: Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Stay Current with Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through ongoing education and training.

• Clinical Expertise: Possess clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering various anesthesia techniques.
• Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

• Master's Degree in Nursing: Hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• APRN License and CRNA Certification: Possess an active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in the state of Illinois and national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

• Minimum of One Year of Experience: Have at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
