As a Registered Nurse at Haverhill Pavilion, you will be an integral part of the treatment team provided for patients upon admission to our facility. Each unit utilizes a team nursing approach to care for our patients, working in collaboration with the therapeutic teams to provide the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records, and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
Ensure each patient's status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information gathered is documented, notifying physicians of significant changes in status.
Administer medications per doctor-ordered note and document count of controlled substance medication administration on required documents, complete admission and discharge processes, and provide direction or coordinate the activities of the unit.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Current MA Registered Nurse (RN) license
