We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Destination Coordinator. In this role, you'll work closely with our Destination Manager to coordinate all aspects of event services, including housing and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Destination Manager in the request for proposal (RFP) process for new events, track responses, and add new partner hotels.
  • Collaborate with the Destination Manager to manage room block requests, reservations, and hotel inventory.
  • Utilize computer software to create room blocks and new events efficiently.
  • Communicate regularly with end-users and update our website accordingly.
  • Verify room night pickup reports for all events and provide timely information to our accounting department.
  • Facilitate the reconciliation process at the conclusion of each event.
  • Send team contact information to partner hotels on a weekly basis.
  • Assist area partners in offering special promotions and discounts to visiting teams.
  • Perform other duties as required within the department or for other departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, communication skills, and attention to detail required.
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of team sports preferred, but not required.
