About the Role

As a Neonatal Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in NICUs or Neonatal Registered Nurse settings.
  • Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
  • Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
  • Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
