Job Title: Sanitation Worker - Greenhouse Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Worker to join our team in the Greenhouse department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the greenhouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ride-on sweepers, scrubbers, power washers, vacuums, and handheld blowers to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Power wash walls of the greenhouse to remove algae and maintain a clean appearance.
  • Operate an industrial dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and utensils.
  • Occasionally use a sit-down forklift to transport materials and equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform general maintenance tasks using tools like brooms, dustpans, squeegees, pliers, hammers, and screwdrivers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sanitation or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
