Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Director to lead our quality department. The successful candidate will provide direction and guidance to ensure the highest level of quality in all products produced within our production facility.

The Quality Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation that assure customer satisfaction. Key accountabilities include providing leadership, direction, and training to the plant in areas such as quality, food safety, plant safety sanitation, good manufacturing practices, and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Biology or Chemistry or a related field and possess strong leadership, budget management, and operations management skills. Experience in vendor/contract management, metric management, communication/people skills, and salaried and hourly management is also essential.

  • Develop and maintain HACCP programs.
  • Conduct customer, regulatory, and in-house audits.
  • Monitor plant performance and develop/implement action plans to address areas of concern.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain operational quality standards, batch sheets, and specification sheets.
