Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Manage Patient Orders: Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or a compact state, and BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Education: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
