Carpenter Co is seeking a CDL Driver - Local to join our Richmond, VA location. This role involves safely and efficiently delivering finished products to customers at various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with multiple levels of Company personnel and external customers
  • Perform work in a Company truck with exposure to weather conditions and various customer locations
  • Deliver products on time while complying with state and Federal laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year driving experience and product delivery required
  • Valid CDL driver's license and clean MVR
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in with little notice
Essential Functions:
  • Receive and understand instructions from Dispatcher, Traffic Manager, and external customers
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all customers
  • Ability to communicate and relay information to others
  • Possess and maintain a clean MVR within Company's guidelines
