Job Summary: The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for the effective management of receiving, storing, and inventorying all departmental supplies and food items while ensuring cleanliness in storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory and maintain necessary food and supplies to support the Food Service Department's operations.
  • Store food and supplies in appropriate containers and designated areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Document storage temperatures of perishable items in compliance with standards.
  • Label and rotate stock to ensure the oldest products are utilized first.
  • Order food and supplies according to established company protocols.
  • Secure storage areas to prevent theft and ensure safety of chemicals and equipment.
  • Transport food and supplies using proper containers to maintain integrity.
  • Adhere to HACCP guidelines during the receiving and distribution of food supplies.
  • Report maintenance needs for equipment to the appropriate resources.
  • Complete required reports in a timely manner as per corporate policies.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
