Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Adventist Health Sonora. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
* Set patient care priorities and assign patient care activities to appropriate personnel based on job description skills and capabilities, scope of practice, and level of competency
* Participate in clinical education by supervising student interns, clinical affiliates, and Clinical Fellowships (CFYs) as needed
* Provide education opportunities to personnel and the broader community
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Master's Degree: Required
* Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred
* Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
* American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Required
* Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required
