We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated French Language Educator to join our team at Olathe Public Schools. As a Middle School French Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students in a classroom setting, including those with educational risk factors and special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct students in French language and culture, adapting to the needs of a diverse student body
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to maximize student learning and achievement
- Form relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
- Supervise and evaluate students within your teaching assignment
- Implement district curriculum and assess student progress
- Kansas teaching license with secondary certification and French K-12 endorsement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction for students with varying developmental needs
- Experience working with students with special needs
