Automotive Painter

At Courtesy Automotive Center, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team in the Body Shop department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Automotive Painter to work in our state-of-the-art collision repair center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and refinishing techniques, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain body shop equipment, including paint sprayers and sanders.
• Mix and apply paint according to specifications, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Inspect and repair vehicles to ensure a safe and reliable ride.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in collision repair.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in automotive painting and refinishing.
• ASE certifications in non-structural analysis and damage repair, as well as painting and refinishing.
• I-CAR certificate of advanced training in detailing, finish matching, and understanding collision repair.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
