Fitness Center Ambassador

We are seeking an experienced Member Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a superior level of customer service.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phone calls, checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, signing up new members, and assisting the Club Manager as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of your shift, helping with priority cleaning lists, conducting walk-around and bathroom checks, and participating in special cleaning projects as needed.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; high school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior customer service experience and basic computer proficiency are essential.
• Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are must-haves.
• A positive attitude, passion for fitness and health, and exceptional customer service skills are necessary for success in this role.

$16.90 - $17.40 per hour, based on location and experience.

• Continual standing and walking during shifts.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shifts.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to occasional toxic chemicals.
