Job Summary

The NetSuite Business System Engineer will be OHI's technical expert and owner of NetSuite, responsible for managing the implementation, systems roadmap, and strategy. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions to streamline processes in and around our ERP system.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, develop, configure, test, and deploy customizations based on evolving business needs.
  • Own development, functional testing, and maintenance of NetSuite.
  • Troubleshoot script, integration, and workflow errors. Perform root cause analysis on systems incidents, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Customize and configure NetSuite ERP to align with business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement enhancements.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with third-party applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including training and documentation.
  • Stay current with NetSuite updates and industry best practices to recommend and implement system improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10+ years total work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Previous experience with multiple NetSuite implementations and data analytics platforms.
  • Certifications in NetSuite.
  • Solid understanding of ERP principles and business processes.
  • Experience managing ERP implementation and day-to-day maintenance.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Developer/Administrator.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript/SuiteScript.
  • Experience working in manufacturing industries a plus.
