We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Box Maker - Dairy Production Operator to join our team at SCUSA Saputo Cheese USA Inc. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, ability to work in a team environment, and a passion for the job.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain dairy production equipment, including milk receiving, pasteurization, and batching/blend and product filling operations.
- Inspect bulk tankers and collect raw dairy samples for quality control purposes.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments, clean-up operations, and equipment set-up.
- Unload trucks and follow all inventory control guidelines.
- Support internal and external audits, and follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
- Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations, and adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.
- Strong math skills, and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP applications, SAP preferred.
- Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels, and mechanical operations.
- Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
This is a 24/7 manufacturing facility, and the successful candidate will be required to work rotating shifts, including days, swing, and night shifts, as well as weekends. The candidate will also be required to work overtime as needed.
