Position Overview:
As a Vascular Technologist II, you will engage in a variety of non-invasive diagnostic assessments aimed at identifying vascular conditions. This role requires a level of independence, allowing you to operate with minimal supervision while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive clinical evaluations of patients, conducting various vascular tests, and accurately reporting findings to the medical team. You will also assist in the training of new staff and students, contributing to a collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting medical histories, medications, and presenting symptoms.
  • Perform a range of vascular diagnostic tests, including duplex ultrasound examinations and Doppler pressure measurements.
  • Transport necessary equipment to various testing locations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data, adhering to laboratory standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate patient transportation to and from the vascular lab as required.
  • Timely communication of test results to physicians and healthcare staff.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for laboratory records and billing.
  • Assist with clerical tasks within the laboratory, including scheduling and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Support the management of laboratory supplies and recommend additional resources as needed.
  • Participate in clinical research activities, including data collection and analysis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates with an Associate's degree based on relevant experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a vascular laboratory or a combination of two years in a vascular lab and five years in a general ultrasound department.

Salary Range:
$33.55/hr - $46.03/hr
