Job Summary
Aerotek seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical experience, with a focus on mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machines, conveyor lines, and robots.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work on various CNC machines, including Doosan and Chiron, as well as conveyor lines and robots such as Fanuc and ABB.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving pneumatics, hydraulics, rolls, bearings, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting of systems ranging from 480V 3-phase down to 24V DC, including single-phase, servo motors, and drives.
  • Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Conduct basic MIG and Stick welding; TIG welding is a bonus.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks such as painting, changing lights, and plumbing.

Essential Skills:

  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • 70/30 mechanical vs electrical expertise.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics, rolls, bearings, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V and using a volt meter.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Must have own tools.

Work Environment:

The training shift is from 1 PM to 11:30 PM for up to six months, after which the set shift will be from 8:30 PM to 7 AM. Work is scheduled Monday to Saturday, with 10-hour days and voluntary work available on the 7th day. The pay scale ranges from $18 to $30, depending on experience and skill level, with a 10% shift differential for off-shifts.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, with additional benefits including medical, dental & vision, critical illness, accident, and hospital insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, and employee assistance program.
