Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide one-on-one assistance to seniors in their own homes, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to live independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide non-medical care to seniors, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
  • Help seniors with mobility, including getting in and out of bed, using the restroom, and performing other tasks as needed
  • Perform duties as assigned on a personalized senior care service plan
  • Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies
  • Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home

Requirements:

  • Submit to a criminal background investigation, motor vehicle driving record check, and pre-employment drug screening
  • Possess a valid current driver's license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle
  • Possess a PCA, HHA, or CNA license or have 6 months of experience as a caregiver (preferred but not required)
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Be able to service the Modesto, CA area
