Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate security staff and security guards
  • Direct and train subordinates in their duties and responsibilities
  • Conduct roll call and inspect security posts and assigned work areas
  • Respond to emergency situations and investigate incidents
  • Interpret and enforce policy directives from higher authorities
  • Prepare and maintain records, logs, and reports regarding security incidents
Requirements
  • Four-year high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in law enforcement, protection, or security
  • Current New York State Peace Officer certification
  • Four years of experience as a Special Officer, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity
