Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students' speech and language skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and interventions to address students' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech and language services into the educational program.
  • Administer direct therapy services and conduct therapy sessions to support students' progress.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to student-centered decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Valid State Speech and Language Therapy certificate or Professional certificate.
  • Master's degree (MS/MA) from an accredited institution in speech and language or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CFY candidates will be considered).
  • IVP Fingerprint Card.
