Job Summary:

This Traveling Registered Nurse position is a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
