Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Imaging Technician II to join our Clinical Engineering team. This full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, with a schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Imaging Technician II, you will be tasked with the maintenance and repair of various imaging systems and equipment, including:
  • Dental x-ray
  • Portable x-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray film developers
  • Computed radiography equipment
  • Film printers
  • C-arms
Under general supervision, you will also handle:
  • Radiographic/fluoroscopic systems
  • Chest x-ray
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Angio/cath systems
  • Lithotripters
  • Direct radiographic systems
Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, safety inspections, calibrations, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic imaging devices. You will work in both hospital settings and various offsite locations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • An AAS degree in Electronic or Instrumentation Technology, preferably with a focus on Biomedical Engineering Technology
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent military training in biomedical and imaging fields
Additionally, basic computer skills are required, with advanced networking and system integration knowledge being a plus. Candidates should be able to read schematics and mechanical diagrams and must hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation for offsite service.
